          Ashford Brooklyn 4-shaft table loom 40 cm. This loom has been designed as an introduction to shaft weaving, allowing you to enter the world of handweaving on low-warp looms and create simple and complex weaves such as twill, satin, rosepath and more, with your own creativity setting the limit.<\/p>\n

          The maximum weaving width is 40 cm. It includes 320 heddles (80 heddles per shaft) and a 40\/10 reed, allowing you to weave across the full width with the 4 shafts at a maximum density of 4 ends per centimetre. (If you need a higher density across the full width, you will need more heddles).<\/p>\n

          It is a simple and comfortable loom to weave on. The beater is very comfortable to use, it has a wide shed and the shafts move easily.<\/p>\n

          My recommendation as a professional craftswoman and accredited Master Artisan is that you take a handweaving course on table looms before buying this loom. It is not an intuitive loom: here we are entering fully into the fascinating world of low-warp loom weaving, with weave structures and drafts.
