The Kromski Harp Forte 40 cm rigid heddle loom is robust, functional and beautifully finished. It is easy to assemble and use, lightweight and portable, and suitable both for beginners and experienced weavers. Two of its most distinctive features are the brake wheels on both sides, which make it easier to control warp tension, and its folding design, which allows the loom to be stored or transported with the warp still in place, without having to finish the piece first. It offers a maximum weaving width of 40 cm, can be used with two rigid heddles and includes an integrated warping board, allowing you to choose the warping method that best suits your work. It is a versatile and straightforward loom for experimenting, weaving small and medium-sized pieces, and producing samples.

The loom

The Kromski Harp Forte 40 cm rigid heddle loom is robust, stable and very well constructed. It is designed to provide a comfortable weaving experience both for those beginning to weave by hand and for those who want to continue developing their skills with a solid and durable tool. Its medium working width allows a varied range of pieces to be woven comfortably, while the reinforced structure supports stable warp tension and consistent control throughout the process. It is a compact loom, well suited to technical learning, experimentation, home use and teaching.

Made from high-quality treated wood with a lacquered finish.

Delivery time is approximately 10 to 15 days. As these looms come from New Zealand, delivery times may vary. Delivery is handled by DHL.

To keep your loom in excellent condition for many years, we recommend:

  • Wipe it regularly with a dry cloth to remove dust.
  • Avoid using abrasive or wet products on the wood.
  • If you wish, you may occasionally apply a natural oil suitable for wood to nourish and protect it.
  • Check the tension of the heddles or reed according to use.
  • Store the loom in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight when not in use.
  • For folding models, close the loom correctly to avoid twisting.
