Ashford 8-shaft table loom 80 cm

In stock (can be backordered)

Ashford 8-shaft table loom 80 cm. This portable and versatile loom allows you to weave countless structures, textures, designs and combinations, creating simple and complex fabrics where you set the limit. The levers fold down for easier transport, even with the warp in place, so you can take it anywhere.

The maximum weaving width is 80 cm. It includes 640 heddles (80 heddles per shaft) and a 40/10 reed, allowing you to weave across the full width with the 8 shafts at a maximum density of 8 ends per centimetre.

It is a comfortable loom for continuous weaving. The beater is very comfortable to use, it has a wide shed and the shafts move easily.

My recommendation as a professional craftswoman and accredited Master Artisan is that you take a handweaving course on table looms before buying this loom. It is not an intuitive loom: here we are entering fully into the fascinating world of low-warp loom weaving, with weave structures and drafts. Please contact us with any questions; I will advise you personally.
