Ashford 60 cm 8-shaft table loom. This portable and versatile loom makes it possible to weave a wide range of structures, textures, designs and combinations, from simple to complex textiles. The levers fold down for easier transport, even with the warp in place.

The maximum weaving width is 60 cm. It includes 480 heddles (60 per shaft) and a 40/10 reed, allowing you to weave across the full width on all 8 shafts at a maximum density of 8 ends per centimetre.

It is comfortable to work with, with an easy-to-use beater, a wide shed and shafts that move smoothly.

As a professional craftswoman and accredited Master Artisan, I recommend taking a handweaving course on table looms before purchasing this loom. It is not an intuitive loom: it opens the door to the fascinating world of low-warp weaving, weave structures and drafts. Delivery time is approximately 10 to 15 days. As these looms come from New Zealand, delivery times may vary. Delivery is handled by DHL.

To keep your loom in excellent condition for many years, we recommend:

  • Wipe it regularly with a dry cloth to remove dust.
  • Avoid using abrasive or wet products on the wood.
  • If you wish, you may occasionally apply a natural oil suitable for wood to nourish and protect it.
  • Check the tension of the heddles or reed according to use.
  • Store the loom in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight when not in use.
  • For folding models, close the loom correctly to avoid twisting.
