Vegan cotton and linen shawl handwoven on a loom. This shawl is woven with cotton and linen; it is light, fresh and easy to combine. It has a soft feel with a little body from the linen, which will soften with use and washing, becoming more flexible. Fully adaptable and comfortable to wear, it looks beautiful with any garment and is very versatile thanks to its range of colours, adding a joyful touch to your style. You can wear it in any season: on a cool summer evening, in between seasons or in winter as a large scarf that will keep you warm through its volume. Design

This vegan cotton and linen shawl, handwoven on a loom, has been woven in plain weave, giving flexibility, drape and softness, with a colour combination in the base designed so you can wear it with many tones and styles. It is a durable and versatile piece, with knotted, loose fringes that give it movement.

Colour

It has a multicoloured base to make it easier to combine and wear with many styles.
  • Warp: multicoloured, with ochre, mauve, red, blue and green. (The base on which we weave). 
  • Weft: chocolate brown. (The fibre we pass across the base).

Weave and warmth

  • Composition: 75% cotton, 25% linen.
  • Feel: soft, drapey and adaptable.
  • Texture: it has a light texture.
  • Breathability: high, both fibres are breathable.
  • Warmth: medium as a shawl, high as a scarf. It is a very versatile shawl.

Fibres

  • Cotton + linen.

The cotton-linen blend is softer and more flexible than linen and reduces creasing, while maintaining a more fluid drape. This blend is fresh, comfortable and breathable, perfect to wear throughout the day. It improves resistance compared with cotton and makes ironing easier. Suitable for prolonged use and sensitive skin, it combines the absorption and ventilation of linen with the softness of cotton. It is a versatile combination, perfect for summer and for the home.

  • Cotton.

Cotton is one of the earliest fibres used to make textiles because of its exceptional qualities. It is soft, flexible, durable, absorbent, breathable and completely versatile: fresh or warm. It is one of the few fibres that, depending on the thickness of the yarn, can be used in summer when fine and fresh, or in winter when thicker and warm.

  • Linen.

Linen is an extraordinary noble fibre used since ancient times. It is comfortable and elegant, with many applications in both fashion and the home. It has a series of qualities that make it unique: it is antibacterial, fungicidal and well known for its resistance to heat and even UV radiation, making it especially suitable for summer.

Finishes

  • Stitching: hand running stitch on the first and last threads to prevent the fabric from unravelling.
  • Thread ends: weft ends are manually worked into the selvedges with a needle to avoid knots in the fabric.
  • Fringes: knotted.
  • Washing: hand washed with natural soap to verify the quality of the fibre and the final measurements. During the first wash, the fibres settle and the fabric reaches its final dimensions. After subsequent hand washes, it does not shrink further.
  • Ironing: hand steamed to enhance the finish, drape and texture.

To keep your piece as impeccable as the first day, please follow these care recommendations:

  • Washing: hand wash with mild detergent and cold water.
  • Drying: wrap a towel around the clothesline, secure it with two pegs, and hang the piece vertically to avoid marks and make ironing easier if needed.
  • Ironing: no special care is required; in general, use the temperature recommended by your iron for the type of fiber. If the piece contains more than one fiber, always choose the lowest temperature.
  • Storage: keep your piece in its box or bag, so it is always ready to use.
