This Ashford 40 cm rigid heddle loom is easy to assemble and use. It is suitable for beginners and experienced weavers, offers many weaving possibilities and can also be used to weave tapestry-like pieces as on a high-warp loom. It is small, very easy to assemble, weave on and store. Light and portable.

It has a maximum weaving width of 40 cm and is prepared for weaving with two heddles at the same time, as well as with additional heddles in other densities that you can add to expand the possibilities of textures and uses in the fabrics you create.

The Ashford 40 cm rigid heddle loom is compact, accessible and very versatile, perfect for beginning handweaving or continuing to learn with a quality tool. Its size allows you to work on small and medium pieces comfortably, while retaining the stability of a well-built rigid heddle loom.

Delivery time is approximately 10 to 15 days. As these looms come from New Zealand, delivery times may vary. Delivery is handled by DHL.

To keep your loom in excellent condition for many years, we recommend:

  • Wipe it regularly with a dry cloth to remove dust.
  • Avoid using abrasive or wet products on the wood.
  • If you wish, you may occasionally apply a natural oil suitable for wood to nourish and protect it.
  • Check the tension of the heddles or reed according to use.
  • Store the loom in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight when not in use.
  • For folding models, close the loom correctly to avoid twisting.
