This Ashford 80 cm rigid heddle loom is a versatile option for experienced weavers and also for beginners who are comfortable working across its 80 cm width. It offers scope to experiment with textures and colours and to create wider textiles for many different uses. Robust and reliable, it is well suited to producing distinctive fabrics in natural fibres.

It has a maximum weaving width of 80 cm and is designed to work with two rigid heddles at the same time. Additional heddles in other densities can also be added, increasing the range of textures and uses that can be explored.

The Ashford 80 cm rigid heddle loom is designed for those who want to weave wider pieces without giving up the simplicity of a rigid heddle loom. Its width makes it possible to create large shawls, lightweight blankets and larger-scale designs. Combining generous working width, stability and ease of use, it is suitable both for beginners who are comfortable working across 80 cm and for weavers with some experience who want to expand their possibilities.

Delivery time is approximately 10 to 15 days. As these looms come from New Zealand, delivery times may vary. Delivery is handled by DHL.

To keep your loom in excellent condition for many years, we recommend:

  • Wipe it regularly with a dry cloth to remove dust.
  • Avoid using abrasive or wet products on the wood.
  • If you wish, you may occasionally apply a natural oil suitable for wood to nourish and protect it.
  • Check the tension of the heddles or reed according to use.
  • Store the loom in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight when not in use.
  • For folding models, close the loom correctly to avoid twisting.
