This new 25 cm wide rigid heddle loom has a modern and elegant appearance, with the warm quality of Kromski’s wood. It is easy to assemble and use, and is one of Kromski’s smallest looms.
It has metal guides on the folding sections that increase the weaving area. It can be folded with the warp on, making transport easier. At the bottom, the supports have rubber caps to protect surfaces and prevent the loom from sliding while weaving.
It allows a maximum weaving width of 25 cm and can be used with two reeds. It is a versatile and simple loom for experimenting, weaving small pieces and making samples.

The loom

The Kromski Presto 25 cm rigid heddle loom is a compact, small loom that can be folded with the warp on, taking up very little space so you can keep it safely stored without having to finish your work in progress.
The folding guides and the front and back supports can be removed. The reed is fixed in place and the loom folds into “piano mode”, making it easy to transport.
It is designed for small pieces and for work that requires less technical control. Its reduced size makes it a very manageable tool, ideal for beginning to weave by hand, making samples, weaving small pieces and studying textile structures without needing a large amount of space.
Despite its compact format, it maintains good stability and regular warp tension, allowing you to work comfortably on many different types of projects.

  • Wipe it regularly with a dry cloth to remove dust.
  • Avoid using abrasive or wet products on the wood.
  • If you wish, you may occasionally apply a natural oil suitable for wood to nourish and protect it.
  • Check the tension of the heddles or reed according to use.
  • Store the loom in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight when not in use.
