249,00

In stock (can be backordered)

This new 40 cm rigid heddle loom has a modern, elegant appearance, with Kromski’s usual quality. It is easy to assemble and use, and is one of Kromski’s smallest looms. It has metal guides on the beams that increase the weaving area. It can be dismantled with the warp still in place, making transport easier. On the lower part, the supports have rubber stops to protect them and prevent the loom from slipping while you weave. It allows a maximum weaving width of 40 cm and can be used with two heddles. A versatile, simple loom for experimenting, weaving small pieces and making samples.

The loom

The Kromski Presto 40 cm rigid heddle loom is a small, compact loom that can be dismantled with the warp still in place, taking up less space for travelling or simply for storing it without having to finish your work in a hurry. The warp beam guides and lower supports are removed, the heddle is loosened and the loom is ready to go into “flat mode”, making it easy to transport. It is designed for weaving small pieces with a high level of technical control. Its reduced size makes it a very manageable tool, ideal for beginning to weave by hand, making samples, weaving small pieces and studying textile structures without needing much space. Despite its compact format, it offers good stability and regular warp tension, allowing you to work comfortably on different types of projects.

  • If you wish, you may occasionally apply a natural oil suitable for wood to nourish and protect it.
  • Check the tension of the heddles or reed according to use.
  • Store the loom in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight when not in use.
